Women must go first
I recently got an email from a woman who was thrilled with this new, interactive area (note Comments on previous postings) and who wanted to know if it was ok for her to share this area with other women in her life. The answer to that is a resounding YES!
This is about women (all women who have an interest) gathering in small groups, talking… and beginning to notice just how potent that process is. Whether you’ve experienced a WEL-Systems book/cd, coaching experience, intensive/retreat process or not, all women who have an interest in the acceleration of their own evolution are most welcome to engage. My intention is that there will be a mix, here, of women who have a WEL-Systems perspective and those who are new to it all, to offer their own discoveries and insights as the weeks/months go by.
Let’s be frank: I’m biased. I’ve been working with women most of my life and am very clear: women who have experieced a WEL-Systems perspective wake up faster, stay awake longer, far more rapidly create change in their lives than women who don’t, and are far more contagious in their way of moving through the world. Why? Because it’s not a shift in the intellect, it’s an awakening in the body - and the body never lies!
There are many women (and men) who have engaged in a WEL-Systems perspective and have then moved into other disciplines to engage with others (i.e. Reiki, energy work, coaching, etc.). Because a WEL-Systems perspective allows for a shift in the context of who we are as human beings, once that is experienced it profoundly changes how we move through the world: how we see ourselves and others, what we hold as possible, our willingness and ability to engage in the ‘tough’ stuff, etc. Experiencing the world through WEL-Systems eyes transforms what we see and, by extention, transforms how we move through that world and our impact on it.
No matter what your field of practice, a WEL-Systems perspective will profoundly accelerate and deepen your results.
I believe that a WEL-Systems perspective makes it possible for us to wrap our hands around the transformation we so desperately seek and ENGAGE! It opens the doors for us to find a new place to stand for mindfully determining our own evolution; and it offers a gateway to creating our future from other than what we already know, discovering how to trust that truth that flows through the body and relax into it, knowing that we’ll be ok.
I have long known – and I”m sure all of you do, too – that without new information, we are destined to have the same conversations, the same way, over and over again. Just think of the recycled discussions you have with your spouse, or with your kids! It’s that broken record thing…. Without new information, there are no new insights that allow for us to engage with each other, differently.
Having worked with people since 1990, I now stand on 17 years of reliable, field-tested, real-life/real-time experiences with thousands of people and I’m convinced: a WEL-Systems perspective offers a lens through which to be able to see what has always been invisible to us and has kept us tied to lives we know can be more compelling but we just can’t figure out how to get there! A WEL-Systems perspective makes it possible for us to see a different path.
So, my invitation to all of you is to invite the women you know to come here and explore. I sometimes find myself wondering: how long would it take for this information to go around the world? If every person here sent every person they know the location of this interactive area, and each of them did the same, how long would it take for the world to know that something else exists…. something else is possible… that can rapidly, profoundly and generatively change lives?
One last thought: I am aware that there are some men (and not all men) who are recognizing the importance that women must play in the coming decade. As part of the Declaration of Evolution by Intention, I am clear that we require:
An opportunity to engage life differently through:
– A call to women to lead and co-create with men differently;
– An invitation for men to relax into new ways of being;
As women awaken to their own potential, find their voice and allow it to be heard, it becomes possible for men to discover a different voice… the one inside themselves that speaks to their own vulnerability, their desire for connection and intimacy and their willingness to let go of what always has been in order to discover what might become.
For me, the truth of it is : women must go first. Why? Because the habituated ways of moving through the world are so deeply entrenched with the supposed, perceived benefits being with the men, that women are the ones who have nothing to lose by awakening to their own potential. In the almost two decades that I’ve been working with women, I long ago lost count of the number of women who discovered that what they had perceived as limitations to their growth and evolution were of their own making; that far too many of these limitations that were stories they told themselves and each other; and very few women had actually tested the waters… had pressed the edges of those stories by engaging them directly and asking for what they wanted. So many ghosts of times past that lingered yet nonetheless, controlled through the power of the story. Reminds me of how elephants are held captive. They’re tethered as babies and are convinced, even as full-grown adults, that they are powerless to move. They have been known to die in fires rather than risk raising their foot from the stake in the ground.
The best way to silence someone is to convince them that they have nothing of value to say. For far too long, women have silenced themselves. (Yes, yes… I know…. there are many places in the world where women are killed if they find their voice – and for many of us, that is not so. ) We have pulled back, diminished and made puny what we have to offer, believing that it held no value. And we have done it to ourselves. At what point do you and I say: enough! Maybe today’s the day….
So, all are welcome! I welcome the interaction between those women who have experienced a WEL-Systems perspective and all that has happened for them, and those women who are new to it all. It does not have to be hard or take a long time. It can happen in the blink of an eye! And I do know that not only is there comfort in knowing that we’re not alone, there is great power. That power can find its expression through women gathering in small groups, talking….
